How does BookKaro work?
BookKaro is a software directory that connects customers with independent vehicle owners (Captains). Open the app, browse the available vehicles near you, view the Captain's details, and call or message the Captain directly to confirm your ride. BookKaro does not dispatch rides or set fares.
Do I pay BookKaro directly for rides?
No. BookKaro does not collect or process ride payments. All ride payments are made directly between you and the Captain — via UPI or cash. BookKaro is a software platform only.
What types of vehicles are available?
BookKaro supports Bike, Auto, Three Wheeler, Pickup, Car, Ertiga, Bolero, and Suzuki. You can choose the vehicle that best fits your need.
How do I become a BookKaro Captain?
Click "Join as Captain" and fill the registration form with your personal details, vehicle details, documents (RC, DL, Insurance, Aadhaar), and subscription payment. Our team verifies within 24 hours and you're listed on the directory.
Does BookKaro charge commission on rides?
No. BookKaro does not charge any commission on rides. Captains keep 100% of what they earn. Captains pay a small monthly subscription fee (₹99/month) to be listed on the platform.
Is BookKaro safe?
Every Captain is verified with ID checks and document verification (RC, DL, Insurance, Aadhaar). Customers can view Captain details before booking, and in-app chat and call logs are retained for safety and dispute resolution. We also have customer support for reporting issues.
What if I have an issue during a ride?
Contact our support immediately at grievance@bookkaro.co.in or call +91 92631 33158. We respond within 48 hours for any safety or service concern, and take strict action against Captains who violate our policies.
How do I cancel a ride?
You can cancel a confirmed booking by informing the Captain directly through the app before pickup. BookKaro does not charge any cancellation fee. Any advance settled directly between you and the Captain is your own responsibility. Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
Which cities is BookKaro available in?
We are currently live in multiple cities across Jharkhand, West Bengal, and expanding rapidly. Enter your city on the app to check availability.
